Project Leader : within Vanderlande involved in 3 projects :
Safety software design and testing at the new T5 termnal of London Heathrow. With a total of over the 5000 emergency stops safeguarding more than 25 km of conveyors (used for the transport of baggage) the design and testing on site required coordination of the safety test team as well as the safety design team. Involved in both teams and lead of the testteam at London Heathrow.
Design of a new type of conveyor, the vertical conveyor, with a capacity of 1200 bags per hour from one floor to the next floor in a contineous vertical lift.
Design and testing of the safety software for the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Leading both the design team (new design involving automatic generating of the software) and the integration team at Schiphol.
